Description

I made this model as part of my Blender learning process - it is my second large project ever and it still may not have the best topology. As you may see I am taking my time painting the model, so i do not have a finished picture of it yet - I will update the page once i do, but i do not want to delay this model's release further.

With that being said, I present to you another figurine/diorama of SD-J from Murder Drones - this time in her eldritch form.

The model is made in the same scale as my model of classic SD-J and is significantly larger - the base sits at just under 18 cm (~7inches) in diameter and the whole model is about 14 cm (~5.1inches) tall. It is not as much of a challenging print this time around, though assembly and painting requires a lot of work and the model should therefore only be attempted if you have prior experience with such models - try making the classic version of SD-J or other small-scale models first.

Printing Instructions:

This is not a multi-color model as i do not own a multi-material nor a Bambu printer - I will therefore not be uploading any official print profiles as I have no way to verify their function; I also believe this model would simply not work as a multi-color model.

The whole model can be printed using a standard 0.4mm nozzle, though you will get much better detail (especially around teeth/fangs) with a 0.2mm nozzle (recommended nozzle diameter is indicated in file comments for each file). If you do not plan to use different nozzle diameters, you can print base_whole.stl in one piece, while if you have access to a 0.2mm nozzle you can print base_split_base.stl with a 0.4mm nozzle (minimal details) and print base_split_rubble.01/02 with a 0.2mm nozzle to save a lot of time.

The amounts of each tentacle piece are indicated in the file comments, though you are free to arrange the tentacles however you please - the arrangement in the renders is merely a reference and your imagination is the limit.

If there are any issues with the model (beside missing print profiles), feel free to comment them and I will attempt to find a solution.

This is and unofficial fan-made model and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Glitch Productions or Liam Vickers.
