Description

Why settle for standard staring googly eyes when your gear can have an absolute mood?

This is a fully 3D-printable, functional double-eye kit featuring a modular Swappable Faceplate System and a brand-new Slide-On Track Mount system! Now you can change the entire personality of your robot mower, bike, or garage tools in seconds just by clipping on a new expression frame. Give your lawnmower an angry scowl while it tackles the grass, make your robot vacuum look perpetually exhausted, or give your gear a highly suspicious side-eye.

As seen in images, the kit prints as flat, clean components that drop right into place, keeping assembly simple and 100% glue-free if your tolerances are dialed in!

🎭 Swap the Mood (6 Included Expressions)

The kit includes six different drop-in faceplate rings to completely alter the look:

  • Angry: Sharp, angled lids for that "get out of my way" determination.
  • Tired: Heavy, half-closed lids for tools that are just sick of working.
  • Suspicious: Narrowed slits to give your gear a side-eye that questions everything.
  • Sad / Worried: Inverted angles for a hilarious, vulnerable, and concerned look.
  • Worried: A classic anxious expression for high-stress machinery.
  • Blank: Wide-open circular frames for that classic, surprised stare.

🛠️ New Modular Slide-On Mounting System

The back of the double-eye frame now features a universal mounting channel. You print the main eye housing once, and then simply slide it directly onto your choice of interchangeable mounting brackets:

  • The Magnet Mount Bracket: Features integrated recessed holes designed for three $6 \times 3\text{ mm}$ round magnets. The flat, smooth back surface also doubles as a perfect area for double-sided mounting tape.
  • The Zip-Tie Mount Bracket: Features built-in routing slots for two zip-ties—perfect for bicycle handlebars, ATV frames, or rounded tool handles.
  • The Foot Mount Bracket: Extended mounting feet designed specifically to give a flat, solid surface for double-sided foam tape on curved, uneven, or non-magnetic surfaces.

🚀 Print & Assembly Instructions

No Supports Needed: All parts lay perfectly flat on the build plate for an easy, clean print. (except feet mount)

Easy Multicolor (No AMS Required): Print the main frame/backplate in white, the free-moving center irises in black, and the expression faceplates in white (or a contrasting color!) to easily achieve a perfect multi-color look just by swapping spools between prints.

Assembly:

  1. Place the moving irises 2 sides into the main double-eye housing.

  2. Simply snap your chosen expression faceplate over the top to lock them in.

  3. Slide the assembled eyes onto your chosen printed mounting bracket!
