đ¨ď¸ Recommended Print Settings
To ensure maximum safety and durability on the road, the use of PLA is strongly discouraged.
- Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS (Highly recommended for UV, heat, and impact resistance).
- Infill: 40% - 50% (Gyroid or Grid for maximum rigidity).
- Perimeters (Wall Loops): 4 or 5 perimeters to ensure the screw and pin area do not yield under stress.
- Supports: Yes (Tree Supports are perfect for clean removal).
đ§ Installation Tips
- Thoroughly clean the helmet surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove grease and dirt.
- Use high-quality structural double-sided adhesive (e.g., 3M VHB) to attach the mount to the chin bar.
- Press firmly and allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before your first motorcycle ride!
