• We used a compact battery-powered fairy light string with approximately 10 LEDs.
• Small LED strips or similar miniature lighting solutions should work just as well.
• The warm light enhances the egg texture and highlights the dragon’s details beautifully.

Printing Notes

• Some supports are required.
• Most supports are easy to remove with basic post-processing.
• The area behind and around the dragon’s head is a little more challenging to access, so take your time during cleanup.
• The extra effort is definitely worth it, as this area is highly visible in the finished model.
• For the best visual result, consider printing the egg and dragon in contrasting colors or using silk filaments.

The model was designed primarily as a decorative display piece, but it looks especially impressive when combined with a small internal LED light source.

Battery-powered fairy lights are inexpensive, easy to install, and create a beautiful effect without requiring any modifications to the model.
