🛠️ Float Switch Holder for Rule-A-Matic 35A

This holder is specifically designed for the Rule-A-Matic 35A float switch. The sensor easily clicks right into place. The holder is securely mounted using 5 flat head screws and one or two washers . It is a very straightforward and simple print. A float switch is one of the most important parts to prevent the boat from sinking on route or in the shore. Therefore it is important that the switch is working 100% at any time. The original holder of this switch is not correctly described as a piece of crap. Therefore the solution to this problem is to create the most simple and efficient and solid solution possible. A reinforced design of the orignial holder would not solve that problem. The base needs to be glued in properly to seal the screws to prevent water intruding in the keel or glass fiber. That is next to impossible with the original holder. the surface below the holder needs to be maximsed and not only a flimsy stripe that is degrading quickly by glue (Sikaflex). The blocking of slipping out of the holder needs to be solid too. That means a screw with a washer would block the switch from slipping out of the holder. The original holder has two small klick in holders. Not only flimsy but also good for exactly nothing. How often do you detach the switch ? Exactly! NEVER. The switch needs to be attached solidly and firm. on as much contact surface as possible with the holder. Exactly that is delivered by this holder. We will re design the holder in a bit by rounding the corners and to re calculate the material thickness after the Testrun under heavy conditions along the Portogese coast line up north against the wind and waves.
