Velociraptor Raptor (Deinonychus)

This realistically designed raptor is a detailed dinosaur model for anyone looking for a more natural and less "cartoony" dino. The design is based on the idea of what a fast, predatory dromaeosaur might have looked like millions of years ago

The body is sculpted to be sleek, dynamic, and features many fine skin textures, wrinkles, and muscle details. This makes the model appear particularly lifelike and perfectly suited as a display model, collector's item, or as a base for custom painting

For better print quality, the tail was split separately. It is assembled and glued with a connector after printing. This allows for cleaner layers and better print alignment

The hands were additionally reinforced/modified in the model to make them more stable during printing. Nevertheless, supports on the hands should be removed very carefully and patiently, as the fingers and claws still have fine details

Another, even more authentic model with feathers is already in progress

The model was printed with:

Layer height: 0.2 mm
Tail: split separately, glue together with connector
Supports: remove carefully, especially on hands, claws, and delicate areas
Post-processing: ideal for painting with acrylics or airbrush

For a particularly good result, I recommend carefully removing support remnants with side cutters or a scalpel and not forcibly detaching delicate areas
