Description

🏀 Realistic Mini Basketball - No Supports Needed!

Welcome to the ultimate mini basketball 3D model! This model is perfectly sculpted to look just like a real basketball, complete with the classic grip lines. It makes an amazing desk toy, a fun gift for sports fans, or a neat decoration for your room.

✨ Key Features

  • No Supports Required: Designed to print cleanly right off the build plate without wasting extra plastic on support structures.
  • Perfectly Balanced: At 15% infill, the ball has a nice, realistic weight to it when you pick it up.
  • Universal Fit: Fully tested and ready to print on all Bambu Lab printers, including the X1, P1, H2, and A1 series.

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings

To get the best possible results, use these sliced settings in Bambu Studio:

  • Layer Height: 0.20mm Standard works great and prints fast. If you want the top curves to look extra smooth, you can drop it down to 0.16mm Optimal.
  • Infill Density: 15%. This keeps the print quick while keeping the ball strong.
  • Infill Pattern: Grid or Gyroid. Both give excellent internal strength so the top of the ball doesn't cave in while printing.
  • Wall Loops: 2 walls is plenty, but you can change it to 3 walls if you want a tougher ball.
  • Brim Type: Auto or Outer brim only. Because a round ball only touches a tiny part of the flat build plate, a brim acts like tape to hold it steady so it doesn't wobble or fall over mid-print.

🎨 Filament & Post-Processing Tips

For the most authentic look, we recommend using Bambu PLA Basic Orange or Matte Orange filament.

If you want to make the details pop, you can use a black paint pen or a fine-tip permanent marker to carefully color in the engraved grip lines after it finishes printing. It only takes a few minutes and makes the basketball look incredibly realistic!
