Description

A simple upgraded knob for the Redragon GS550 gaming speakers. The default knob is small, difficult to grab, slick, and hard to turn. This solves all those issues. The knob is longer, giving more room to grab it. I added a larger diameter outer knob too with a fuzzy skin for a textured grip.

NOTE: The potentiometer center post is going to be TIGHT. I would suggest warming up the knob first, especially if using PLA.
Take the old knob off by grabbing it with a pair of pliers. It just pulls straight out. New knob will be quite tight, I found placing the speaker and knob face down and pushing the speaker onto the knob got it seated good. Worst case, shave a little off the inside of that center cylinder with a drill bit. But heating up the knob to warm the plastic should work just fine. Better to be tight.
Much, MUCH easier to turn the knob now.
I printed in PETG, and that's what I would recommend.
