Filter Lift Ring / Spacer for Replacement Filters
This small spacer ring is designed to be placed under the vacuum filter to raise it slightly inside the filter compartment. On some vacuums, many aftermarket replacement filters are just a little thinner than the original filter, which can prevent the filter detection trigger from being pressed correctly.
This can cause the vacuum to show the error message:
“Filter uninstalled”
With this ring installed underneath the filter, the filter sits slightly higher and reliably activates the detection switch again.
Recommended Material
I printed mine in Generic TPU and recommend using TPU as well, because the flexible material helps maintain a better seal around the filter.
Other materials such as PLA, PETG, or similar can also be used, but TPU is preferred for the best fit and sealing performance.
Adjustment Tip
If the ring is too thick for your filter or vacuum, simply scale it down in the Z-axis in Bambu Studio until the filter fits properly and the detection trigger is activated.
Important Note
This part is intended to be used only together with a properly installed filter. It is not meant to bypass the filter system, but to compensate for slightly thinner replacement filters.
