Modern Cyber-Eye: The Evil Genius Eye Patch

Boost Me (for free)

Want more wearable cosplay? BOOST THIS MODEL so I can quit my job and make this kinda fun stuff full time! : )

Stop being a regular, boring pirate and step into the future! I wanted a modern, sleek look for an eye patch that you won't find anywhere else, so I designed this custom, high-tech piece. Perfect for leveling up your cosplay or adding an edge to your look, this design is built to look sharp and fit right.

The included .3mf file contains versions for both the left eye and the right eye to ensure a perfect fit for your character.

Assembly Instructions

This is a clean, modular design. There is no glue required for this assembly. To attach the patch securely to your face, simply drill small holes into the designated side tabs and feed through your preferred elastic straps or high-strength cord. This method allows you to customize the comfort, tension, and strap style (like leather or nylon) for long-term, comfortable wear.

Recommended Materials (Sponsored by SUNLU)

To achieve the best finish for this modern aesthetic, I highly recommend using SUNLU PLA+ Filament. It offers excellent layer adhesion and a crisp, clean finish that highlights the geometric design of this patch, making it perfect for both display pieces and active cosplay.

Important Cosplay Tools & Tips

Since this is a wearable piece, getting the right fit is crucial:

Creative Remix Ideas

This design is a blank canvas. Here is how you can take it to the next level:

  • Cyberpunk/Sci-Fi: Embed tiny addressable LEDs or a faux "HUD" lens inside the cup.
  • Dystopian/Post-Apocalyptic: Weather it with metallic paints, rust effects, or add "repaired" plating overlays.
  • Steampunk: Remix it with brass-colored gears, leather edge-stitching, or copper tubing accents.
  • Tactical/Military: Use matte carbon-fiber filament and add mounting points for a monocle or a miniaturized sensor array.
  • Fantasy/Necromancer: Sculpt organic, bone-like textures onto the surface or add a gemstone centerpiece.
  • Monster/Alien: Create asymmetric spikes or protrusions using the organic sculpting tools in your favorite CAD software.
  • Custom Colorways: If you are looking to add multiple colors or gradients to this print, learn how to effectively remesh and colorize your prints here: How to remesh and color prints in Bambu Studio.
