Bill of Materials
Description
The sickening, sweet stench of honey thickens as you step deeper into the dark hive, the crunch of wax beneath your boot echoing a little too loudly. Your torchlight flickers across the floor, catching the pale, glistening wriggle of giant larvae fat within their comb. Draw your blade, friends—their queen is near.
The Hive
These larvae patches is part of a series called “The Hive”.
A collaboration project between Mike Gyver Minis and myself, Together 3D. Where we combine our strenghts into a ready to print and play adventure.
Mike Gyver Minis supplies the high quality detailed miniatures and I create the envionment where your party can encounter them.

The Hive: Larvae patches
These crawling larvae come in 3 variants:
- 1 inch base: little larvae
- 1 inch base: big larvae
- 2 inch base
They print fully supportless and at 0.08 mm layer height to get the full detail. They print supportless.
I personally printed mine in Desert Tan matte, to then prime it (lightly) brown, paint with ancient honey from Army Painters , the larvae with pale grey blue and finish with kislev flesh layer paint from citadel.
