Steering Replacement Part – Apollo Kids Whiz Scooter

🇬🇧 English

The original steering component of our Apollo Kids Whiz children's scooter broke after some use (see photos). Since spare parts for this specific model are hard to find, I designed this replacement to restore the scooter to full function — saving it from the landfill. ♻️

Print Recommendations

  • Material: ABS or ASA (strong, UV- and weather-resistant)
  • ❌ Not recommended: PLA (becomes brittle, deforms in sun/heat)
  • Infill: 15 % — sufficient in my test, but **30–50 % recommended
for extra safety margin, especially for heavier kids

Files Included

  • .3mf – ready-to-print with my tested profile
  • .stp – STEP file for your own modifications/remixes

⚠️ Disclaimer / Use at Your Own Risk

This is a 3D-printed replacement part for a child's vehicle. Use entirely at your own risk. I accept no liability for any damage, injury, or accidents resulting from the use of this part. Please:

  • Inspect the printed part carefully before each use
  • Replace immediately if cracks or wear become visible
  • Supervise children while riding
  • Do not use if you are unsure about print quality or strength

If in doubt, consult the manufacturer for an original spare part.
