TASM2 Faceshell by KenLandrum Optimized & Supports
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is an optimized and rescaled remix of the classic, movie-accurate The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (TASM2) faceshell and lenses, originally designed by the legendary community creator Ken Landrum.
While the original source files are a fantastic piece of fan-art, they often come with completely mismatched scales and non-standard export units, making them frustrating to prepare for modern 3D printers. I have spent time in the slicer carefully reworking the orientation and spatial dimensions to deliver a print-ready project that fits together flawlessly.
- Perfect Lens Scale Alignment:
The original lenses were disproportionately large compared to the eye sockets. By utilizing diagonal cross-section measurements, I precisely recalculated and downscaled the lenses to match the exact 103.28 mm boundary of the faceshell's eye slots. They are now perfectly proportioned. - Drastic Filament & Support Waste Reduction:
The default orientation generated massive, unnecessary support structures, burning over 360 grams of plastic. By strategically re-orienting the shell's tilt and fine-tuning the support threshold angles to 15 degrees, I managed to shave the required support material down to just 115 grams without compromising structural stability. - Ready-to-Print .3MF Profile:
Instead of raw STL files, this project is saved as a fully configured .3MF print profile. Wall loops, infill type (optimized for durability), and tree support paths are fully embedded and ready to open directly in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer.
Important Community Note
Please note that I do not currently own a physical 3D printer. This profile has been meticulously optimized and verified 100% digitally through slicing software simulations, but it has not been physically test-printed on my end.
If you decide to print this model, please share your makes, photos, and feedback! Your physical results will help validate the digital measurements for the rest of the cosplay community.
