🎨 Multi-Color Printing

The text and scoop can be printed in different colors using your slicer's color painting tool. No special export needed — just use the STL as downloaded.

Recommended method — Color Painting in Orca Slicer / Bambu Studio / Anycubic Slicer:

  1. Import the downloaded STL
  2. Right-click the model and select Color Painting
  3. Use the brush to paint over the text area
  4. Assign a different filament to that painted region
  5. Slice and print!

Note: Due to a limitation of the MakerWorld interface, multi-color objects are merged into a single mesh on download. Color painting in your slicer is the most reliable workaround and produces excellent results.

For OpenSCAD users only: If you download the .scad source file, set separate_text_for_multicolor = true before exporting your STL. Import into your slicer and use Split to Objects to assign filaments separately.

 

 

⚠️ Food Safety Note

Food safety depends on your filament choice and post-processing. Use food-safe filament (PETG recommended) and consider sealing with food-safe epoxy for use with consumables. Hand wash only.

📋 Customization Tips

For tiny scoops (1-5cc): Handle automatically narrows to match the small bowl For large scoops (60-120cc): Consider increasing wall thickness to 2.0-2.5mm Leave Thick 3 at 1.5mm for best results Note: The customizer preview shows the channel and text facing up. Bowl opening faces down in print orientation.
