Ultimate Parametric Coaster Generator (AMS Friendly)

I put this generator together because I was tired of standard, boring coasters that always seem to stick to the bottom of wet glasses and slam back down onto the table.

This script goes way beyond just slapping a logo on a basic disk. It’s built specifically for MakerWorld's Customizer and handles multi-color printing flawlessly without any weird rendering glitches or overlapping faces.

What you can tweak in the Customizer:

• The Shape: Pick between classic Circles, modern Hexagons, or sleek Rounded Squares.
• Condensation Rim: Keeps the water pooling inside the coaster instead of spilling onto your wood furniture.
• Anti-Suction Micro-Rings: Tiny concentric ribs on the inside surface that break the vacuum seal, so the coaster actually stays on the table when you take a sip.
• Cork Backing Recess: You can enable a pocket on the bottom to flush-mount a stick-on cork or rubber sheet. This hides the raw edges of the cork and gives the coaster a really nice, heavy, high-end feel.
• SVG Inlay: Drop in any vector logo, adjust the scale, and move it around until it sits right where you want it.

Quick Tips for a Perfect Print:

1. Ironing: If you want a perfectly smooth top surface where the logo meets the base, turn on Ironing for top surfaces in Bambu Studio. It takes a little longer but looks incredible.
2. Material: PLA is totally fine for cold drinks, but if you're going to rest piping hot coffee mugs on these, definitely print them in PETG so they don't warp over time.
3. Layer Height: 0.2mm works fine, but dropping it down to 0.16mm makes the inlaid logo look much cleaner.
