Model Description

Bring one of the most iconic modern micro-compact firearms to life with this ultra-detailed, 1:1 scale replica of the Springfield Armory Hellcat. This is a completely solid, non-firing static prop gun designed with absolute safety and realism in mind. This model features zero moving parts—the slide, trigger, magazine, and safety switches are completely fused into the mold. It cannot chamber ammunition, chamber BBs, or fire projectiles of any kind, making it a 100% inert, convention-safe prop.

Designed with precision in CAD, this version comes fully decked out with an integrated low-profile Red Dot Reflex Sight and a tactical Barrel Compensator (often mistaken for a compact suppressor) attached to the threaded muzzle for the ultimate tactical look. It is strictly a display piece, cosplay accessory, training aid, or film prop.

The History of the Springfield Armory Hellcat

Introduced in 2019, the Springfield Armory Hellcat revolutionized the concealed carry market. It was engineered to claim the title of the world’s highest-capacity micro-compact 9mm handgun. Despite its incredibly small footprint, it introduced a class-leading magazine capacity that shook the firearms industry, immediately competing with legendary models like the Sig Sauer P365 and the Glock 43X.

Known for its distinct "Adaptive Grip Texture" and its Optics Ready (OSP) configuration, the Hellcat quickly became a favorite for everyday carry. This particular static prop gun replicates the upgraded tactical variants, mimicking the look of the Hellcat RDP (Rapid Defense Package), which includes a front self-indexing compensator to mitigate muzzle rise and an integrated micro red dot for lightning-fast target acquisition.

Where to Use, Remix, & Keywords

Because this is a completely non-functional static prop gun, it is incredibly versatile and safe for public environments!

  • Cosplay & Costuming: An excellent addition for near-future sci-fi soldiers, secret agents, tactical detectives, or modern military builds. Because it has no moving parts, it easily passes strict convention weapon-check guidelines.
  • Remix Potential: You can easily mesh or split this file to embed weights in the grip for a realistic hand-feel, hollow out the optic hood to place a colored plastic lens inside the red dot scope, or adapt the rail interface to test custom under-barrel laser and flashlight molds.
  • Keywords: Springfield Hellcat, Static Prop Gun, Non-Firing Replica, 3D Printed Pistol, Toy Gun Prop, Con-Safe Weapon, Tactical Handgun, Red Dot Sight, Hellcat RDP, Inert Display Model, Military Cosplay, Fake Pistol.

Print Settings & Material Recommendations

To capture the intricate grip texturing and the clean overhangs on the compensator without losing surface quality, material choice is key.

  • Recommended Filament: For the black tactical version, I highly recommend printing the slide and frame in SUNLU Matte PLA Black to eliminate shiny plastic layer lines and give it a premium, injection-molded look. For the grey prototype or a paint-ready base, SUNLU Standard PLA Grey or their highly durable SUNLU PLA+ (Plus) offers incredible impact resistance and flawless finish quality.
  • Supports: Tree supports are highly recommended for the trigger guard, optics hood, and compensator overhangs. Ensure your bridging settings are dialed in for a clean finish!

Assembly Instructions

Depending on how you slice the model for your build plate, you may need to fuse the frame, slide, or muzzle attachments. For a seamless, permanent bond that will survive conventions and accidental drops, I recommend ARKA KRAFTPROTZ UNIVERSAL Superglue. Its high-strength bonding formula fuses the PLA surfaces cleanly without leaving unsightly white residue.

Slicing & Cosplay Guides
