Description

I am just a Hobbyist. I 3D print organic models for fun. Started with an A1 Mini about 3 years ago and just have not looked back. The models that I create are AI Generative assist. I am learning blender but get a functional foundation from AI to then clean up and reshape in Blender. All Models from me are test printed multiple times with different filament. I try not to use the meta or most expensive filament for test prints. All photos from me will be as is, no paint, no primer, just removed supports and took the pics. If there is excessive wispy stringing, I may hit it with a heat gun to clean that up, but everything is photographed as it comes off the printer.

For additional examples of prints I have done (not my models) see Odd_Zone5925 on Reddit. I have printed everything under the sun; from funtional parts in a mechanical setting to DnD minis and dragons, masks, signs, Hueforges, lamps, etc. If there is a way, I print it. I really love the hobby and just want to toss a few things out to the community that I made myself. Cheers to everyone!

Young Red Dragon

This the second in a line of Large DnD Monsters that I am working on. This model was created with FDM in mind. It prints quick and easy and the supports come away with very little effort. Use the right tools and be patient, but it cleans up quick and easy.

He is set in the mountain peaks north east of the small city of Halsby Lake. The young dragon has carved out a territory and the locals are terrified to go near area. The mines in the North Pass have come to a grinding halt while this majestic beast stalks the skies in the region. As trade slowed and started to impact the wealthy merchants in the area, calls for this creature to be removed began to surface. Will the party be up to the task? Can a compromise be made?

He stands at 100mm tall as printed. Will scale up, but if you decide to do that, reduce the layer width of the supports. They will start to get pretty chonky if you scale past 150mm.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to view these models. I am still a novice but learning more every single day. I love the hobby and want to feel like I left of bit of what I love here for others.

The print profile you will find here is somewhat unique. Supports are easy to remove and function well with many different models. Even if these models are not for you, the print profile might be worth trying.

Thank you! Cheers all and Happy printing.

Just want to end on one note. The models that you find here are set in very specific print profile settings. These are incredibly clean print profiles designed to do well with the models being shown. You are more than welcome to use these print profiles to print other models.

To use a print profile on another model of your choice:

  • Open the 3mf that you want to use.
  • add a plate, and open a new model as geometry only on the new plate. It will automatically apply the same settings from the project to that model.
  • Slice the model to ensure there are no conflicts or non-manifold errors.
  • Print!
  • You can also save these settings in your user presets to use in the future without the hoops.
