š” What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.
I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.
If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84
š Chaos Dragon Knight - Horned Vanguard - Fantasy Wargaming Miniature (129mm)
"The drums of war echo in the void, and from the warp, the Horned Vanguard arrives."
Unleash a devastating force on your tabletop with this incredibly detailed miniature of a Chaos Dragon Knight. This dynamic, bipedal beast is a perfect leader or elite unit for any "Wargaming / Skirmish" army with a "Dark Fantasy / Horde" theme. Standing at 129mm (including the highly textured, multi-tiered rocky base), it captures the menacing presence of a mutated dragon warrior.
Gritty Detail & Heavy Plating
This model highlights a chaotic blend of heavy armor-like scaly plates, sharp spikes, a devastating blade weapon on its tail, and leathery wings with sharp points. The 0.16mm resolution ensures that the hammered texture of the armor scales, the fine lines of the facial spikes, and the details of the ruined rocky base are rendered with exceptional clarity while maintaining an efficient print time.
š Dimensions & Print Specs
- Total Height: 129mm (Scaled for larger display or as a proxy for huge-sized skirmish units).
- Layer Height: 0.16mm (Tested and recommended for a perfect balance between armor detail and print speed).
- Nozzle: 0.4mm.
- Supports: Tree supports mandatory (Designed to snap away cleanly).
š ļø Post-Processing & Cleanup Tips
The engineering on this model ensures that post-processing is manageable, but care is needed:
- ā ļø Support Removal: Use a precision flush cutter for the support branches. The supports under the massive wings and around the horns are designed to snap cleanly if cut carefully.
- ā ļø Fine Detailing: Use a dental pick to clear any small support residue from the sharp facial spikes and the gap between the claws.
- ā ļø Under-Wing Check: Be careful when cleaning the supports under the "sails" of the wings to avoid stressing the material where it attaches to the arm joints.
- š« Scaling Warning: This model is optimized for 3D printing at this specific 129mm scale. Scaling it down significantly will make support removal exponentially harder, especially under the wings and facial spikes.

Technical & Creative Note: This design is based on an AI generation that I have manually refined and tested on FDM prints to ensure printability and quality. The featured photo is of the actual physical print. Iāve included AI-colored renders only as a visual reference for those who wish to paint the miniature.
