I’ve designed a temporary workstand compatible with Metcal soldering stations MFR and MX. It fits the handpieces MFR-H1-SC2 and MX-H1-AW perfectly.
Specifications
- Dimensions: 152 (L) x 93 (D) x 78 (H) mm
- Supports auto sleep functionality
- Requires 4 pieces round shape neodymium magnets round shape (8×8 mm) mounted into the side holes
- Important: all magnets must be oriented in the same direction, facing inward, to ensure proper auto sleep operation
Notes
- Intended for temporary/personal use
- ⚠️ Since the stand is printed in plastic, it may soften, deform, or even damage the soldering tip if it comes into contact while hot. Handle with care.
