Description

Summary

  • For use with: Steam Controller 2 / 2026 controller and puck
  • Original model: v22 https://cad.onshape.com/documents/abcfa860fce3c1530917d40e/w/6bd5c74e5166da8c143027b3/e/f1030ed5efce4eb12c99f24f
  • Matching style: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1558905-8bitdo-ultimate-controller-dock-wall-base
  • Secure latch holds the puck in place while keeping the controller easy to grab
  • Designed for a clean wall-mounted controller setup

What makes this model special?

  • Clean, stealth design - A minimal wall base that gives both the Steam Controller and puck a dedicated home without adding visual clutter.
  • Secure puck latch - The puck latches into place so it stays put during normal use, while the controller remains easy to pick up and set back down.
  • Matching wall-mount style - This follows the same simple, desk-clearing approach as my 8BitDo Ultimate Controller Dock Wall Base: move the controller and puck off the desk, keep them within arm’s reach, and maintain a cleaner gaming setup.

Assembly

I mounted mine using 3M Command strips. If you prefer screws, the model includes partial mounting holes that can be opened up for screw mounting. Latch the puck into the base, route the cable as desired, and place the controller on the puck as normal. Consider using a 90deg or 180deg degree USB-C adapter or cable for a cleaner fit.

Hi, I really like this design and it printed really well but unfortunately the puck seems to be too recessed and the controller doesn't charge. Seems like the pins are not making good contact. Hopefully it's an easy fix and this will be a 10/10 dock.

Hey, thanks for giving this a try and for the helpful feedback. I'm _really_ sorry for the wasted print. :[ I'm traveling this week but I do have my controller and access to a printer here so I'll try to get this explored and addressed.

Just an update, progress last night but I need to check a couple other things before posting the updated model. Hopefully tonight.

Worked Flawlessly. Controller sits nice and the puck is securely held in place. I used some double sided tape to secure it just below my monitor to its stand.
