Description

This model is a white marble terrace expansion set for the Forbidden City Three Halls, specially designed to accompany the previously released Three Halls models. After printing and assembling the 1:157 scale models of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, and Hall of Preserving Harmony shown in the images, you can fully recreate the overall spatial layout of the core Three Halls complex of the Forbidden City.

The Three Halls models can be downloaded from the following links:

This white marble terrace model focuses on recreating the iconic marble foundation structures of the Three Halls, including:

  • Multi-level Sumeru-style terrace base
  • Imperial pathway staircases
  • White marble balustrades
  • Symmetrical central-axis layout

The entire marble terrace is designed with a modular structure, separating the outer balustrades, central platform, and palace wall components for easier large-scale printing, transportation, and assembly. Because the number of print plates is very large, the model has been uploaded as three separate print files:

  • White Marble Central Platform
  • White Marble Palace Wall Components
  • White Marble Outer Balustrades

All parts have been optimized for FDM printing. Once assembled, the complete model forms a full display of the Forbidden City Three Halls complex, better showcasing the hierarchical order and grand spatial presence of ancient Chinese imperial architecture.

The complete white marble terrace model measures approximately 1.5 m × 0.8 m and requires about 7.5 kg of marble PLA filament.

For the detailed printing and assembly order, please refer to the numbered diagrams and step-by-step assembly instructions below.
