Description
This is a highly detailed Mimic chest designed for tabletop gaming (D&D, Pathfinder) or as a functional decor piece. It features a wide-open mouth with sharp teeth and a long, textured tongue, making it perfect as a:
- Jewelry Box: Keep your rings and necklaces safe (if you dare!).
- Dice Jail / Storage: Fits a standard set of RPG dice perfectly.
- Display Piece: A great addition to any DM’s collection or nerd shelf.
Print Settings & Tips:
- Supports: Required. I recommend using "Tree Supports" for the upper teeth and the roof of the mouth.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.12mm for maximum detail on the wood grain and organic textures.
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid recommended).
- Wall Loops: 3 for better durability.
- Post-Processing: This model looks amazing when hand-painted! I used acrylics and a wash to bring out the details in the gums and wood.
