Dashboard and windshield mount for Starlink Mini.
This project is a 3D printed mount for using the Starlink Mini inside a vehicle, with suction cup attachment to the windshield and direct support on the car's dashboard.
The purpose of the mount is to allow a simple, removable, and stable installation, keeping the antenna positioned near the windshield, without occupying a critical area of the driver's visibility. The design was conceived to rest on the dashboard and be attached to the glass from the bottom, reducing visual obstruction and helping to keep its use more compatible with the safety requirements and Brazilian traffic legislation, which restrict accessories that impair the driver's vision.
The mount is suitable for those who use Starlink Mini for travel, commuting, motorhomes, trailers, support vehicles, off-roading, camping, or as emergency internet in the car. Installation does not require drilling, glue, or permanent modification to the vehicle. Simply attach the suction cups to the mount, position the piece on the dashboard, and secure the suction cups to the glass.
For best results, I recommend printing in PETG or ABS, as vehicle interiors can reach high temperatures when exposed to the sun. I do not recommend PLA, as it can deform with heat. Printing takes around 4 hours, depending on the printer, speed, and settings used, and the result is quite resistant for the proposed use.
The suction cups used in the project must be purchased separately. Link used as reference:
Optionally, a rubber strip, EVA, silicone, or anti-slip material can be added between the base of the mount and the vehicle's dashboard. This helps reduce vibration, prevent noise, and protect the dashboard's finish from scratches during car movement.
Before use, ensure that the mount does not interfere with the driver's field of vision, airbags, sensors, air vents, or vehicle controls. The user is responsible for safe installation and compliance with local regulations.

Dashboard and windshield mount for Starlink Mini.
This is a 3D printable mount designed to use a Starlink Mini inside a vehicle. It attaches to the windshield using suction cups and rests directly on the dashboard.
The purpose of this design is to provide a simple, removable and stable installation while keeping the Starlink Mini positioned close to the windshield without blocking the driver’s critical field of view. The mount was designed to sit on the dashboard and attach to the lower area of the windshield, helping reduce visual obstruction and making the setup more suitable for safe vehicle use and local traffic regulations.
This mount is useful for road trips, overlanding, motorhomes, trailers, support vehicles, camping, remote areas or as an emergency internet backup inside the car. Installation does not require drilling, glue or any permanent modification to the vehicle. Just install the suction cups on the printed mount, place the support on the dashboard and attach the suction cups to the windshield.
For best results, I recommend printing this part in PETG or ABS, since car interiors can reach high temperatures when exposed to sunlight. PLA is not recommended, as it may deform under heat. The print takes around 4 hours, depending on your printer, speed and slicer settings, and the final part is very strong for its intended use.
The suction cups are not included and must be purchased separately. Reference link:
Optionally, you can add a rubber strip, EVA foam, silicone pad or anti-slip material between the mount and the vehicle dashboard. This helps reduce vibration, prevent noise and protect the dashboard surface from scratches while the vehicle is moving.
Before using the mount, make sure it does not interfere with the driver’s visibility, airbags, sensors, air vents or vehicle controls. The user is responsible for safe installation and for complying with local traffic laws.
