The Fokker T.V was a twin-engine Dutch bomber and “air cruiser” developed in the late 1930s, designed for both bomber interception and ground attack missions. During the German invasion of the Netherlands on May 10, 1940, it entered combat almost immediately, shooting down two German bombers during its first engagement before being used in attacks against German airborne troops around The Hague and Rotterdam.
