- LED Mini Rope lights x 1: Found on Amazon. Controller for the part I used is shown in the pics.
Description
Two story shipping office created at 1:87 scale for HO train sets. CA glue required. On this model, I've made small design changes, altered the sign mounting system, added the option for LED “mini rope lights” and painted differently. I used the cheap LED rope lights with 3mm bulbs found on Amazon (controller is shown in the pics) but really any lights with a 3mm bulb can be used. They will illuminate the front entrance and the interior of the shipping department which adds to the garage door ajar feature.
Assembly Notes:
- Affix shipping boxes and mailbox to floor component (glue required).
- Install front windows and rear shipping door to 1st floor section (no glue necessary).
- Apply sign to 2nd floor section (glue required).
- Affix 2nd floor component to 1st floor component (glue required) then add the alignment plug to square off the sections.
- Install LED string lights if you choose to (6 positions).
- Push the control through the large hole and feed the wiring out the slot to the rear of the building.
- Affix building to floor component (glue required).
- Install roof to complete.
