Ever wanted to hold a piece of biological "fine art" without the actual fever dreams? Here it is! This Hantavirus sculpture is the perfect desk companion for anyone who thinks rodents are cute but their "parting gifts" are a bit much.
A Friendly Word of Caution: While this 3D-printed version is perfectly safe to cuddle, the real deal is definitely not. Consider this a tiny, ironic reminder: if you’re cleaning out that old, dusty shed or garage, maybe don't go "full vacuum" on those mouse droppings. Wear a mask, dampen the dust, and stay safe. Let’s keep the virus on the pedestal and out of your lungs!
Print Settings & Tips
- Layer Height: Printed at 0.2mm for a great balance between speed and detail.
- Pro Tip: If you want that nameplate to look crisp and professional, I recommend dropping down to 0.12mm. It makes the text pop!
- Infill: 10% Gyroid – strong enough to survive a sneeze, light enough to save filament.
- Supports: Designed to be easily removable. They should peel off like a Band-Aid!
Personal Finish
To get that "organic yet metallic" look seen in the photos, I gave my model a light misting (color dusting) with Gold, Grey, and Red spray paint. It gives it a wonderful depth and a slightly menacing shimmer.
