Description

Print in place Lab Jack. No hardware or assembly required

*** EDIT: Added 0.16mm Layer height version. This uses adaptive layer heights around moving parts. Its a longer print (about 7.5 hrs on H2C), but should enable more successful prints. Several users have had too much adhesion of the threads. ***

There are two engineered supports inside to snap off.  These provide support to the top bar, where space is to tight for normal support structures.

Some finesse will be required to separate the movable parts and screw threads.
I let the slicer build tree support on the outer hinges.

A lot of time and filament was spent to make this strong and printable. Thanks for your support!

Platform size is 3.3 x 3.3 inches. Closed is about 1.5 inches, to fully extended its bout 5.5 inches. You can also scale it up.
Naturally, there will be some flex in the platform, but it can reasonably hold a few pounds.

Moving parts have 0.2mm tolerances, so printability dictated by your printer.

Printing Tip:
Try reducing the layer height or use Variable Layer Height around the threads and hinges to help ensure you can get the parts free.
