Boost Me (for free)

Boost this model to help others find this set!

A standard 7x3 Gridfinity bin that actually fits on smaller printer beds, thanks to a clean, strong dovetail split with built-in alignment tabs.

See my other models for more sizes. If you need any specific size, ask in the comments and I should be able to make one fast.

This model is a 5-unit-tall Gridfinity bin (~39.5mm tall), split into printable sections so it fits cleanly on the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, this will also fit on any printer like the  Bambu Lab P1S. I've added alignment tabs along the split so the sections self-register during assembly, keeping the sides perfectly aligned and helping prevent side-to-side movement.

I couldn't find a 7x3 Gridfinity bin that would still fit on my smaller printer bed, so I designed my own.

Every model includes both a tight profile and a loose profile. I prefer the tight version because it is very snug and doesn't move. The loose version is there for anyone who wants easier assembly and disassembly or whose printer runs a little looser on tolerances.

Features

  • True Gridfinity standard sizing
  • 7x3 footprint
  • 5 units tall to fit more items (~39.5mm tall)
  • A1 Mini and P1S profiles included
  • Tight and loose dovetail fit options
  • Dovetail split for strength with alignment tabs
  • Prints flat, no supports required
  • Works great with PLA, PETG, or ABS

Perfect For

  • Long tools
  • Electronics parts
  • Desk organization
  • Modular drawer systems
  • Zip tie storage
  • Chip clips

Printing Instructions

Recommended Settings

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls: 3-4
  • Infill: 10-20% (Gyroid or Cubic)
  • Supports: None
  • Brim: Optional (only if your material tends to warp)

Assembly

  • Dry-fit first
  • Start with the tight profile if your printer is well tuned
  • Use the loose profile if you want easier removal or your machine prints slightly oversized
  • Glue is optional, but CA glue or a plastic-safe adhesive works well if you want a permanent assembly

⭐️ If this model helps, boosts are hugely appreciated and help others find this set of split Gridfinity bins.

Printed several combinations for a few days to organize my drawer under the printer, No disappointment during printing for the beginner that I am :) My first boost for practical and functional models!

I am glad these are working for you! I'm still working on building out my library of bins but let me know if you need any specific sizes.
