Description

Create a personalized 3D printed greeting card with raised text and simple raised graphics using MakerWorld Customizer.

This is a flat-printing, one-piece quarter-fold card. It prints as a single flat sheet, then folds into a compact greeting card. The Customizer includes editable text fields, occasion presets, sizing options, border controls, hinge settings, and optional decorative graphics.

Included occasion presets:

  • Mother’s Day
  • Birthday
  • Thank You
  • Get Well Soon
  • Congratulations

You can customize the recipient wording, front message, inside message, signature, card size, text sizes, graphics, borders, and fold/hinge settings.

The model includes a standard size preset and a smaller A1 Mini-friendly preset.

Folding Instructions

Print the card flat with the raised text facing up.

Flat layout:

  • Top left: inside right, upside down
  • Top right: inside left, upside down
  • Bottom left: back cover, normal
  • Bottom right: front cover, normal

To fold:

  1. Fold the top half backwards behind the bottom half.
  2. Fold the left half backwards behind the right half.
  3. Fold gently along the thin score lines.

Customization Notes

Long text does not auto-wrap. Use the separate line fields for multi-line messages.

For A1 Mini, use the smaller preset and check the preview before printing, especially if using long names or long messages.

Print Settings

Recommended material: PETG
Also works with: PLA, if folded gently
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Supports: No
Brim: No, usually not needed
Infill: 100% or high infill
Orientation: Print flat, raised text facing up

PETG is recommended because the fold/hinge areas handle bending better. PLA can work, but fold slowly and carefully.
