Dead Reckoning folding Battle Board

This is a remake of another board I found but lost the link to. This is the folding version of the battle board to replace the cardboard one in the game.  This works with the cardboard ship.  The battle boards often warp with is annoying.  They also have wider separating boundaries, this one minimalized those so that you don't have to reroll quite as often.  The hinges were designed for 2mm steel rods, but I found that just 1.75 filament actually works better. I cut the tip to a point and clean up all of the hinge joints with a knife to allow the sides to fit on smoothly.  Then with the pointed filament I run it through using a needle nose plyer.  This is a bit delicate so be careful.  For the bottom of the board, I split the filament in to at the center.  Straighten the filament as best you can but it will still be a bit difficult to press in.  I would do that on a flat table slowly.  There are additional holes.  Those are designed for small magnets, but the stiffness of the hinge makes those unnecessary. Putting the hinges together start with the top, then the bottom then the sides.
In the pic, I did break one hinge on the board, but that was with a drill, prior to realizing that the filament worked better.
