The king's rest is eternal—and very, very hungry. The Royal Grave-Mimic brings a terrifying surprise to your next dungeon crawl. Perfect for high-stakes tomb raids or as a boss in a desecrated cathedral, this miniature transforms a standard piece of scenery into a lethal ambush predator.

The sculpt features a massive, ornately carved stone sarcophagus topped with the skeletal effigy of a crowned king resting upon a pillow. The illusion of a peaceful grave is shattered by a row of jagged, triangular teeth lining the lid's opening. A massive, multi-lobed tongue coated in sickly green slime spills out from the center, reaching for its next meal. The sides of the sarcophagus are adorned with grotesque reliefs of unblinking eyes and wailing figures, further hinting at the creature's true nature. It sits upon a Desecrated Tomb Base, littered with scattered human remains, fallen stone tablets,

and autumn leaves.

Key Features:

  • Horror Contrast: The rigid, weathered stone textures of the sarcophagus provide a perfect foil for the glossy, fleshy look of the tongue and the dripping slime.
  • Intricate Relief Work: The detailed "sculpted" scenes on the sides of the tomb offer a fantastic opportunity for wash and dry-brush techniques to bring out the macabre details.
  • The Ultimate "Gotcha" Piece: This model acts as a beautiful piece of terrain right up until the moment it tries to eat the party's rogue.

i attempted this print and it was going fine until the upper teeth just turned to balls of string. i think I'll try again and draw some supports on.

Good call! If you're using an FDM printer, it's definitely essential to add supports to the upper teeth and the tip of the tongue.
