Description

I picked up one of these 8.8" ultrawide "bar" displays for my PC for only $45, but I wasn’t a fan of the black edges since I have a white build. I wanted something that made it look like a native part of the build rather than an afterthought, so I designed this clean, low-profile frame.

It’s specifically sized for the 1920x480 resolution panels (like the Wisecoco/Zhaocailin ones on Amazon). It does a great job of hiding the bezels and giving the screen a finished, recessed look. Whether you're mounting it on a PSU shroud or against the back panel for AIDA64/telemetry, this makes the whole setup look way more professional.

Note on Fit: I made this to be a nice, snug fit but not too snug. It’s modeled after the specific 8.8" unit found here: [Amazon Link]. It should work with most generic 1920x480 screens, but check your mounting depth if your screen has a bulky controller board on the back.

Printing Tips:

  • Orientation: Print it face-down. If you use a textured PEI plate, the front of the frame gets a really nice premium finish that hides layer lines perfectly.
  • Material: Regular PLA works great, but if your case runs especially hot near the GPU, you might want to go with PETG just to be safe.
  • Supports: None needed!

If you’re using this for a PC RIG, post a make! I’d love to see how it looks in different cases.
