Description
The Mini Floppy Disk Filament Swatch is a re-engineered remix of Simiridium or NSC 3D
I completely redesigned this Mini Floppy Disk Filament Swatch and adapted it to my needs. The changes are as follows:
- The new dimensions are 40mm x 42mm x 2mm, making them optimal dimensions for my purposes
- I rotated the filament swatch area and the numbers for the wall thickness by 180 degrees because I store the Mini Floppy Disk Filament Swatches the other way around
- I completely omitted the hub on the back as I don't need it and its removal reduces print time
- Furthermore, I did not design the two write-protect notches, which further reduces print time
- Additionally, I enlarged the label area to 33x25mm so that labels with dimensions of 32x24mm can be applied without overlapping and with a little tolerance
In my opinion, these changes do not diminish the retro look of a floppy disk in any way. Furthermore, through these adjustments, I was able to reduce the average print time per filament swatch by 2.5 minutes
I use the labels from https://3dfilamentprofiles.com and I adjust the label size to 32x24mm accordingly
