⚙️ Universal Parametric Bearing Holder (Updated!)

A simple but powerful parametric bearing holder for your mechanical projects. Instead of looking for the right STL, use this generator to create exactly what you need for your specific bearing and hardware.

  • Added Triangle and Diamond (Oval) body shapes.
  • Improved Smart Grub Logic: side screws now automatically rotate to avoid mounting bolts based on the chosen shape.
  • Reinforced Diamond shape for better mechanical strength.
  • Cleaned up code for faster rendering in MakerLab.

 

🛠️ Key Features:

  • 📐 New Body Shapes: Choose between Square, Triangle, or Diamond (Oval) to fit any mounting space.
  • 📦 Multiple Bearings: Presets for 608, 6000, 625, 6201, 6202, and 6804.
  • 🟢 Customize Corners: Choose between Rounded (Fillet) or Flat (Chamfer) corners.
  • ✨ Edge Control: Apply 45° chamfers to the top, bottom, or both (keep it flat on the bottom for better bed adhesion!).
  • 🔩 Screw Options: Support for M1 to M6 bolts with Counterbore (socket head) or Countersink (flat head) pockets and nut slots.
  • 🔒 Smart Locking: Optional side Grub Screws with adjustable height. They automatically move to the best position to avoid bolt collisions!
  • 🔧 Easy Maintenance: Bottom slots to help you push the bearing out easily.

🚀 How to use:

  1. Click the green "Customize" button.
  2. Choose your Body Shape and Bearing Type.
  3. Select your mounting hardware.
  4. Adjust the "Diameter Tolerance" if your fit is too tight (0.25mm is recommended for most printers).
  5. Download the generated STL and print!

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings:

  • Walls: 3 or 4 loops (essential for grub screws to grip well).
  • Infill: 25% or higher (Gyroid recommended).
  • Supports: No supports needed! 🚫
