Description

Subaru Impreza WRX STI "Bugeye" Functional Key Holder

Design Concept

Pay tribute to the early 2000s rally legend with this Subaru Impreza WRX STI "Bugeye" wall-mounted key holder. Meticulously modeled in Fusion 360, this version features the iconic round headlights, a massive hood scoop, and an aggressive widebody kit with aerodynamic canards. It’s a must-have for enthusiasts who appreciate the raw, mechanical aesthetic of the first GD-series Impreza.

Key Features

  • Widebody & Aero Detail: Specifically modeled with flared fenders and front canards for a high-performance "Time Attack" look.
  • Integrated Keyslot Mount: The rear features a built-in keyslot (keyhole) mechanical mount. This allows the holder to slide securely over a wall-mounted screw for a clean, professional, and completely invisible installation.
  • Reinforced Dual Hooks: Integrated into the front splitter, these hooks are engineered to handle the daily weight of heavy keychains.

Printing & Material Advice

  • Recommended Material: Grey PETG. As seen in the preview, PETG provides the necessary impact resistance and structural durability for a functional wall-mounted accessory.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm - 0.2mm for sharp details on the grille and headlights.
  • Infill: 20% (Gyroid or Grid) to ensure the mounting plate and hooks remain rigid.
  • Supports: Minimal supports are recommended for the aero canards and the internal mounting slot.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Print: Use Grey PETG for a professional automotive finish.
  2. Wall Prep: Install a standard screw into your wall with a proper anchor.
  3. Mount: Align the integrated keyslot on the back of the Bugeye with the screw head and slide it downward to lock.
