Description
Updates:
Hi everyone!
I’ve been following your feedback and I really appreciate all the comments and suggestions. If you have ideas on how to improve SKADENSE, I’m open to hearing them all. As I work onboard a ship and I’m currently away from home, I only have access to my computer. Unfortunately, my 3D printer is back home, so while I can make certain updates remotely, I’m unable to physically test new designs at the moment. I’ll do my best to implement any changes that can be made and verified remotely whenever I have time. However, some improvements need to be properly tested before they can be released, and without access to my printer, that simply isn’t possible. I’ll be back home in the second half of August 2026, and at that point I’ll be able to spend time evaluating and implementing some of the additional improvements you’ve suggested. In the meantime, please keep the feedback coming and don’t hesitate to share new ideas. Your input is what helps make SKADENSE better for everyone!
What is SKADENSE?
SKADENSE is a smarter take on the classic SKADIS pegboard.
By increasing hole density, it gives you way more freedom to place your tools exactly where you want — no more awkward spacing or wasted space. You get more mounting points on the same surface, better organization, and a more efficient design that uses less material. And the best part? It still works with accessories designed for the SKADIS system.
Same idea. Just done right.

Customization
Your setup, your rules.
Use the customization option to tailor your SKADENSE plates to your needs. Adjust size and layout to match your workflow, whether you want a compact tool zone or a fully loaded wall.

Modularity & Scaling
Start small. Expand anytime.
The system is fully modular, so you can scale it up as your needs grow. Add more panels, extend your layout, or rearrange everything without limitations — SKADENSE adapts to you.

Profiles & Dimensions
Find your printer and see the maximum SKADENSE size you can print:

Compatibility
The hole pattern follows the IKEA SKÅDIS standard, making the board compatible with many existing accessories and 3D printed attachments designed for the SKÅDIS ecosystem.
There are already many hooks, holders, and tool mounts available online that can be used with this board.
Installation
Designed for standard 3.5 × 35 mm screws, with optional double-sided tape mounting for a quick and hassle-free setup.

The system uses four types of connectors: center, side, top/bottom, and corner, allowing for flexible and scalable configurations.

In the Connectors profile, two versions are available:
5 mm base height — positions the pegboard closer to the wall.
20 mm base height — matches the spacing used by the IKEA SKADIS Wall Mount system. This improves SKADENSE compatibility with already printed SKADIS panels and, by maintaining the same distance from the wall, also allows the use of accessories such as light strip mounts and other SKADIS-compatible attachments.
Connectors are available as a separate print profile. If you can’t see them push "Click to see more” button and scroll to the bottom of the profile list.
Arrangement

Despite the connectors being designed for a precise fit, it is recommended to print a single test piece first to ensure proper tolerances on your specific printer. If the fit is slightly loose, simply scale them by 0.5–1% for a tighter connection.
Changelog:
13/JUNE/2026
Added an additional modified connector with an increased base height to match the existing IKEA SKADIS Wall Mount system (20 mm).
