⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – Read before printing The claws are the most complex part of this print. The figure's position on the plate and the applied modifiers have been optimized to ensure optimal printing of these parts. Exercise GREAT care when handling the freshly completed print. If you deem it necessary, to reinforce them, apply a light layer of resin or a layer of cyanoacrylate glue to Wolverine's hands at the points where the claws emerge.
This fan art figurine of Wolverine (Marvel / X-Men) is designed to be FDM printed with collector quality: claws in a combat stance and a shattered stone effect base that evokes the raw power of comics' most iconic mutant.
The model originated from the challenge of keeping the claws proportionate to the actual figure, without artificially enlarging them to facilitate printing. The result is visually more faithful, but requires attention to speed settings — a problem resolved thanks to the mesh modifiers included in the 3MF file.

🔹 Printing Tips
- 🐢 Claw speed: The 3MF file includes two mesh modifiers placed on Wolverine's hands that automatically lower the print speed to 10 mm/s for walls, infill, and surfaces. Not changing this value is what allows printing thin claws without breakage or stringing.
- 🌳 Hybrid Tree Supports: The choice of supports only from the plate with a hybrid style ensures easy removal and a clean model surface. Do not change the support type without testing first.
- 🔗 Assembly: The two parts join via integrated hexagonal press-fit connectors. In case of too tight a fit, lightly sand with fine sandpaper. In case of too loose a fit, a drop of cyanoacrylate glue provides a permanent solution.
- 💪 Claw reinforcement: After printing, if the claws appear fragile, apply resin or cyanoacrylate glue to the hands at the point where the claws exit. This step is highly recommended before moving or displaying the figurine.
- 🎨 Painting: The model is an excellent base for hand painting. Grey PLA responds well to an acrylic primer base before the final color.
