Description
I need a spiral staircase for my dwarf hamster; it should be modular and take up little space. After a wooden prototype, I have now started designing the staircase!
The design is suitable for dwarf hamsters or similarly sized animals, but can be scaled as desired. The step height is 25mm, and the platforms are approximately 6x6cm. Each module is 28mm high in total. The base is available in two heights: 28mm and 60mm.
Additionally, I have uploaded several versions, one with a high tolerance of 0.2mm and one with a lower tolerance of 0.1mm for the plug connections. I also used adhesive (hot glue / superglue).
Furthermore, I have added wood-look variations using “Bumbmesh.com”, which are also compatible with each other and offer the small animals a little more grip.
Our dwarf hamster carefully explored the staircase on the first evening and now zips up and down it!
