Description

After studying many of the EGO Battery carriers and the comments made on MakerWorld, I thought I would solve those problems in a significant way.

  • Handle - Thicker and stronger.
  • Handle Grip - Large enough to wear a work glove and use it
  • Color - I had to have green and black, or else it wouldn't live up to the name - Use color painting to make it your own!
  • Stronger Design - By using a 2-peice design, it allows for the print orientation to be easier to print and make the pieces as tough as possible. 4 Walls and 20% cubic infill in PETG or stronger filament is more than enough to handle two 10 Ah Batteries
  • Artistic Logo - Artistic interpretation of the EGO logo was used, and all property and copyright of the EGO Power logo is theirs. My goal was to make the handle recognizable for what it is used for.

Settings:

  •  Filament: Bambu PETG HF is the default, but choose whatever suits you
  • Fan art logo is 1mm deep - use color painting to change the look
  • 0.20 mm layer height with 0.4 mm nozzle
  • 4 walls with 20% Cubic infill - overall strength and particularly fort the 3mm holes
  • Top/Bottom layers 5 & perpendicular infill (so you don't see diagonal lines on the top surface of the main handle)
  • 5mm Brim, Textured Plate

Hardware:

  • Recommended ten (10) M3x12mm length screws (button or cap head, machine or self-tapping)
  • Glue: CA/Super Glue, Gorilla Glue or epoxy for strength.

Thanks a million! I have really come to like this design. Using on 6AH and 2.5AH batteries now but tested with 10AH before launching the model.
