Description
The "Cezar" pattern Basilisk is a rare and highly regarded variant of the ubiquitous Imperial Guard self-propelled gun. Named after its first known commander, Captain Cezar of the Vostroyan Firstborn, this vehicle has been modified on the Forge World of Mars to meet specific long-range siege requirements. While it utilizes the standard Chimera-based tracked chassis, the "Cezar" pattern is characterized by its extended range Earthshaker cannon, which features an upgraded, multi-baffle muzzle brake and reinforced recoil absorption systems. This allows the crew to fire more powerful, super-charged propellant charges, striking targets further than standard Basilisk variants.
