Axis 9 V2 is the update to the original Axis 9 design.
In this version, defects from the previous model were corrected, and new details were added

Improvements and New Features:
Screw: I have eliminated the problematic screw. It now includes a press-fit piece, making assembly much more practical
Reinforced Magazine: I redesigned the top part of the magazine (which was previously a weak point). It is now a separate, assembled piece, providing superior structural resistance to prevent breakage
Mechanical Realism: I added a functional Slide Stop and an ejection port on the slide to give it a much more realistic aesthetic
Aesthetic Adjustments: The slide has subtle design changes that improve the overall appearance without losing the essence of the original model
Compatibility Guide (ORIGINAL vs V2)
If you already have the previous version, here's a breakdown of what you can reuse and what you need to print again:
COMPATIBLE PARTS (You can use those from V1):
- Ammunition: Discs (100% compatible)
- Trigger: The TRIGGER remains the same
- Magazine Safety: The lock that retains the magazine is compatible
- Magazine Base: The bottom cover is the same
- Sights: Both front and rear fit perfectly
- Slide Guide: The safety/guide is compatible, BUT I recommend printing the new version included in this profile, as it has been scaled for greater precision and tighter tolerances (firmer fit)
NEW PARTS (You must print these):
Grip: Redesigned for the new interlocking piece that holds the spring and for the slide stop
Slide: New aesthetic, ejection port, and system for the slide stop
Disc Pusher: Completely new internal mechanism for greater reliability
Magazine Body: It is now a completely different piece except for the base
ASSEMBLY SPECIFICATIONS:
For operation and assembly, it requires
ELASTIC BANDS
One large and one small band for the recoil mechanism and for the magazine
SPRING:
A standard ballpoint pen spring for the magazine safety mechanism
CUSTOM CUT FILAMENT PIECES. to secure the movable parts and the structure
PRINT RECOMMENDATIONS
MATERIAL: PETG is recommended to ensure the firmness,
elasticity, and durability of components under tension. PLA can be used but does not guarantee durability
SUPPORTS: The design already includes manually integrated supports in the grip (handle) and on the slide to ensure a clean print
Expert Tip: If your printer is well calibrated, you can increase the layer height to 0.20 mm to save time without losing much quality (Thanks @Olegpa for the tip)
