X Shot Longshot Collet FlatFace Muzzle- ONI

A remix of RedCowl's barrel collet** for the Xshot Longshot that uses a different collet style for longer barrels to be used. Desiring a design that more tightly fit the blaster shell and some addtions to existing designs, I adjusted most of the profiles and dimensions to create a flat extension to the XLS that carries the outer profile of the blaster through. I'm using a 16" barrel with this design, could likely go as short as 15" depending on your desired accuracy device. No additional hardware is needed, just as with the original this swaps into the front of the blaster after removing the two thru pins, and continues to allow for spring and barrel swaps. 

Print orientation is face down for the nut and the “muzzle”. I must recommend using variable layer height on the muzzle, the angles create significant stair stepping otherwise. Beyond this, a standard .2mm layer height and profile should suffice, 3 walls. This was made to fit snug to the existing blaster shell- it's possible some minor sanding or filing may be needed due to differences in production shells.
