Description

Please consider following my YouTube channel (you can do it through the video), it really helps me keep creating more designs!

This is a fully 3D-printed toothpick revolver that can hold and shoot 10 toothpicks, one at a time. It features a classic revolver-style hinge mechanism and a manually rotated cylinder.

Assembly Rack Instructions:

  1. Attach the main body to the cylinder hinge.

  2. Secure the hinge using the C-clip.

  3.  click the back plate onto the cylinder.

  4. Place the cylinder onto the cylinder hinge.

  5. Close the cylinder hinge to lock everything in place.

To load:
Open the hinge to access the cylinder, insert one toothpick into each chamber while the cylinder is open, then close it back up. To fire, manually rotate the cylinder to the next loaded chamber after each shot.

This is an experimental model, so let me know if you have any feedback on the operation. I'm also working on a semi-automatic version that rotates the cylinder after each shot.

I watched it print and found the problem. The piece warps up at that point as it cools and the print head hits it on the next pass and knocks it over...but I wasn't using fresh Bambu filament. It worked fine with a filament change.

HACK: I found if you snip the sharp end of the toothpick of both sides, then it goes farther and faster. it is not very strong but good enough to bounce of things or hit the ceiling. also the toothpick sometimes will not if you hold it back it gets lodged between the firing pin. bb lab pal basic bright green.

Works well, even better when you make toothpick ends flat. Not very strong tho, toothpicks don't stick into cardboard
