This is a 4-slot magnetic peptide vial case designed from the ground up for 3ml vials. I designed this to be as compact and minimalistic as possible, prioritizing a slim profile to save valuable space in the fridge while maintaining a professional, hardware-free aesthetic.
The case features fully embedded magnets, ensuring they are completely hidden within the print to avoid the need for glue and to prevent any exposed magnetic surfaces.
Design Details
- Fits 4 Peptide Vials: Sized specifically for 3ml vials (17mm diameter) with caps.
- Minimalist Closure: Uses (8) magnets for a secure, satisfying snap without external hardware.
- Different sized magnets profiles included by request. My standard for my models will be 6x3, but can try to update models if anyone uses any other standard sized magnets.

- Zero Glue: Magnets are fully encased within the filament layers during the print process for a seamless finish.
- Compact Scaling: Designed with a small footprint to fit easily in side doors or butter compartments for organized peptide storage.
- Material: Recommended in PETG for durability in cold environments, though PLA and PLA+ work perfectly fine.
Print Settings & Magnet Integration
- Filament: PETG (Recommended), PLA+, or PLA.
- Walls: 3
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended)
- Supports: Printed without supports, trees can be added if having any trouble with the overhangs
- Built-in Pauses: The print profile includes built-in pauses. If slicing separately, you must add pauses at the following layers to press in your magnets:
- Layer 81
- Layer 131
- CRITICAL MAGNET PLACEMENT: Before inserting the magnets, double-check the polarity. Be sure to test the orientation and insert them so that the magnets on the lid and bottom join when the case is closed. Since these are fully embedded, you cannot fix the orientation once the print resumes!
- PAUSE NOTE: Highly recommend trying to keep the pauses as short as possible by placing the magnets as quickly as you can. If you run into any layer adhesion issues, I would try to adjust your G-Code settings to increase the print temperature before and after the layer pauses.
- Nozzle Note: Standard Stainless Steel nozzles will not stick to the magnets at all during printing, and they can just be set in there without any adhesion. Hardened Steel nozzles will require a drop of glue or some other way to ensure they don't stick to the nozzle.
Assembly & Usage
Because this is a fully 3D-printed assembly, no post-print hardware is required. Once the printer reaches the pause layers, press your magnets into the designated slots. Once the print resumes, the printer will bridge over the magnets, sealing them permanently inside.
