I really appreciate the boosts, so if you enjoy or find useful, Please consider boosting me! Thanks.
Latest Terrarium! (After a lot of trial and error)
For smaller Jumping Spiders or any insects the kids may collect.
This one is the smallest version of my terrariums but went with a different shape to give better viewing areas & lots of ventilation.
Ventilation is very easy to increase as well all you have to do is reduce infill on selected pieces.
Rear access lower from top so should not imped where they build their hide.
You can add anything you want to the base terrarium to dress it up,
This guy can be printed in less than 9 hours, slightly less if not using light.
And have two options for the lid one with a light and one without.
The lights I have are same as the kit from Bambu but there are other options available elsewhere as well, if you want colored or remotes.
The acrylic panels I used are from Amazon
They are cheap enough buy you have to buy quite a few or you can carefully cut any 1mm acrylic to the same size ( 2” x 3.5” ), a few screws and some 5mm x 2mm & 3mm magnets and your good to go.
These would be great for breeders that want to supply a simply and effective enclosure for their jumping spiders when smaller, or for just smaller species in general.
Measures about 4” across and 5.5” tall, with a net cost of less than $10 without light and under $15 with. (depending on where you buy supplies from)
Also have room for hygrometer ion there as well 😊, but can simply be deleted if you don’t want to use one. Hygrometer used is here:
12 Pack Small Digital Electronic Temperature Humidity Meter Gauge Indoor Thermometer Hygrometer LCD Display Celsius Thermometer for Home : Amazon.ca: Patio, Lawn & Garden
Supports are needed but come off clean without using anything special for support interface as well, just take your time and break into section rather taht trying to remove whole piece at once.
I have noticed some of the magnets are tough to insert from time to time. I gentle touch from soldering iron can help.
So if you’re looking for a smaller terrarium with a lot of potential look no further, consider sending a boost if you like!
