Description

Boost Me (for free)

I truly hope you enjoy printing this model as much as I enjoyed designing it! If you’re happy with the result, a Boost would go a long way in helping me continue creating free content for the community. Thanks for your support! ♥️

A detailed, single-color 3D printable figure celebrating two of PlayStation's most beloved mascots. This model features Astro Bot and Sackboy side-by-side in a dynamic and friendly composition.

Designed to be printed in plain PLA (like the matte white shown), the model provides a unique aesthetic that highlights the physical 3D printed surface textures:

  • Astro Bot’s side showcases concentric, clean layer lines that define its iconic robotic helmet and articulated plating.
  • Sackboy’s side captures the contrast with an intricate, knitted-yarn texture effect, including fine details like his functional-looking zipper.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Filament: Ideal for matte or silk PLA to emphasize textures.
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm for best texture definition.
  • Supports: Note: The base model requires supports due to the figure's overhangs (waving arms, neck gaps). Tree supports are highly recommended for clean removal.
  • Base: The final version includes a refined, minimalist circular base for stability.

This print is not just a desk toy, but a "texture test" piece that makes a great canvas for custom painting or a standout display in any gaming setup.
