Mutadon: High-Detail Hybrid from Jurassic World (Multi-Color Base)

Description:

I’m excited to share my custom-sculpted model of the Mutadon, the formidable hybrid from the Jurassic World universe! This model was designed with a heavy focus on intricate details, from the textured skin and muscle definition to the menacing open-mouthed pose and expansive wing membranes.

The model featured in the photos was hand-painted after printing to achieve a realistic look. I used a copper-brown shade for the wings and layered greys and blacks for the body to bring out the organic textures. The eyes and interior of the mouth were finished with bright accents for extra pop.

This set includes a custom-designed multi-color display base. It is designed for AMS/multi-color printing—I personally used a combination of Galaxy Purple and Red for a premium, cosmic look. The "MUTADON" text is embedded in the base, making it a perfect display piece for any collector.

Printing Recommendations:

• Layer Height: 0.12mm or lower is recommended to capture the fine details of the skin.
• Material: PLA (Galaxy Purple and Red used for the base).
• Supports: Required for the wings and the open jaw. Tree supports work best for easy removal.
• Post-Processing: For the best results, use a primer before hand-painting with acrylics. A matte or satin clear coat will protect the final paint job.
