Check my other models. I hope you will like something :)

These baby dinosaurs can bite. This is my new free design and is can be printable without supports. The spring mechanism provides a strong enough bite. You will also need a spring and a small nail

I have already published the tutorial

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-FzpRuNKqv/?igsh=d2FxNWNpYnAwZWEz

-nail 0.7x19mm
-Torsion spring

-3d printed spring by  patrickbryant1996  https://makerworld.com/en/models/606905#profileId-529821

Find a small similar spring in a stationery store, as in my tutorial.
Or you can buy spring(1x5x3 mm 120 Degree Torsion Spring (5PCS) - BC001) in bambu store
With bambu spring works well for play though. In that you can squeeze the mouth shut and it opens, so easy to make it talk, roar etc.

And please, post images of your prints here; I’d love to see them!

Thank you!

how were the tolerances on the upscaled one?.. I've experienced some models where things can start to get loose when you upscale

Just a heads up the Bambu part linked will keep the mouth open not closed, it does not match the pictured spring which I think I / we may all have on a clothes peg somewhere ..... Darn it my cloth's peg spring is just a little too large in diameter. The Bambu part 2x18mm Stainless Steel Dowel Pin works well if you do not have a nail at hand and have the Bambu maker's kit.

Hello. I advise you to bend the bamboo spring to reduce the degree. But I think it's better to find a small decorative paperclip in stationery

Decorative paperclip is the way to go! After a while forcing the Bambu spring into different configurations I am unable to make it do what we need.

Are you away of anyone has remixed to fit a normal peg? I'm having the same issue as you....

I printed it at 300% scale. I put a spring inside its mouth with two screws to close and tighten it. It turned out great!

How did you manage to get your head in order? It's only calculated in the original size, and even in the original it's too heavy.

Replying to @Yuskovych :
It is true that if you move the head, it turns by itself, but if you leave it centered, it does not move. However, if you put a little paper in the fit of the body where the head fits, it makes the movement more rigid and the head fits more securely. The spring was my own invention because otherwise it would not be possible to make the mouth close.

Love this model, the overbite is perfectly goofy! It's a great design too, and went together really well with some superglue.

Yes. Had some of these from a decoration project laying around: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CP5MCH1W The spring from the middle size was perfect for the mechanism.
