Description

I don’t have a dedicated workshop, so every time I finish painting, I need to clean up the table and put everything away. Over time, I realized that moving paints back and forth, keeping them organized, and setting everything up again for the next session was taking more effort than it should.

So I designed these paint organizers  to make that routine easier.

My main goal was to create something practical for hobbyists like me who work in a shared or temporary space. The organizers let me keep my paints together, carry them easily to my workspace, and then store them drawer (they do fit Ikea Komplement drawers) when I’m done. That means less time spent on setup and cleanup, and more time actually painting.

I also wanted the paints to stay easy to see and access while I work, so the organizer uses a vertical layout to minimize the footprint. I also added wide vertical spaces that keeps the labels visible and allow easy removal of bottles.

Features

  • Designed for Mr.Hobby and Tamiya paint jars, also fit AK Xtreme Metal and AK Washes bottles. Fits both 10 and 18 ml bottles from GSI.
  • Comes in 2 sizes - 5 and 6 row versions. The 5-row version has a capacity of 40 bottles, while the 6-row version fits 48 bottles of 10 ml bottles.  If there is a need, I can prepare other sizes too
  • Easy to carry from storage to workspace
  • Fits in an IKEA Komplement drawer
  • Designed to keep labels easily visible
  • Helps speed up setup and cleanup
  • Great for compact or shared hobby spaces

Printing/assembly notes

  • Print with the maximum layer height available to reduce print time.
  • Assembly is pretty straightforward - just glue the top bracket with CA glue.
  • I recommend PLA in order to not run into issues with gluing the top rack.
