This model is much more than a static figure. Its true strength lies within: my innovative BRINKO Construction System, currently patent-pending. I have designed a unique assembly mechanism that offers a satisfying building experience and unprecedented sturdiness. Say goodbye to poorly fitting parts; with BRINKO, every connection is precise and resilient.

Brinko – Parametric construction system (8mm grid)

Design and print your own modular construction parts with this fully customizable OpenSCAD generator.

 

📐 What is it?

 

A set of parametric modules that let you generate construction parts in any size (from 1x1 up to 5x5 or more) by changing just two numbers: `cols` and `rows`. New 8mm grid (updated from 13mm) for more compact, stronger parts that are compatible with other popular building systems.

  •  Caps and sphere eighths

🖱️ How to use

    Option 1: Web Customizer (recommended)

  1.  Part type (dropdown menu)
  2.  Number of columns and rows (sliders)
  3.  Export directly to STL

   Option 2: Local OpenSCAD

  1.  Open the `.scad` file in OpenSCAD
  2.  Change the variables `tipo_pieza`, `cols`, `rows`
  3.  Press F6 (render) then F7 (export STL)

📦 What's included?

  •  A single `.scad` file with **all parts** and a smart selector
  •  Compatible with MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker and Thingiverse Customizer
  •  Clean, commented code (easy to modify)

🔄 Why 8mm instead of 13mm?

 

The previous version used 13mm. After testing, I switched to 8mm because:
- More proportional parts 
- Better structural strength
- Faster prints (less material)
- Compatibility with other modular systems

🚀 Printing & Assembly Instructions

  • Recommended Material: PLA.
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm for the perfect balance between quality and speed.
  • Supports: Not required for most parts.
  • Assembly: Simply locate the BRINKO connectors and snap the pieces together with gentle pressure until you hear a "click."

📜 Intellectual Property Note

This model is a fan art work inspired by the Star Wars franchise. The intellectual property rights for the TIE Fighter design belong to their respective owners. My original contribution is limited to the BRINKO Construction System, for which I have filed a patent to protect the innovation of its assembly mechanism.
